This module is available in English and gives environmental health professionals an overview of the steps necessary to successfully evaluate their programs. The intended audience includes intermediate level public health professionals, including program managers, directors, coordinators, and practitioners who have responsibility for implementing environmental health programs. By the end of this training, you should be able to: list and describe the six steps of an evaluation process; identify key stakeholders in an evaluation; describe the components and elements of a program logic model; outline a basic evaluation plan including data collection methods; list three ways to use evaluation data to draw conclusions about a program. The toolkit contains an optional workbook to help you practice and apply what you have learned by developing an evaluation plan for a program that you want to evaluate. At the end of the course is a final quiz. You must receive a score of 70% or more to pass the course. If you do not pass the course, you may review it and take the quiz again. When you pass the course, you will be directed to a page with links to a certificate of completion, which you can print out, and to the application for CEUs.
