This 20-minute webcast, available in English, is intended to raise awareness of West Nile Virus (WNV), and to update healthcare and public health professionals as well as environmental health specialists to its prevalence. Topics covered include a description of WNV, it’s prevalence, the spectrum of illness caused by WNV, laboratory findings in those with WNV, diagnosis, patient outcomes, treatment, and the prediction of future outbreaks.
