Avian Influenza Commodities Two-Day Training Workshop

This two-day Health and Safety Training covers the following topics: the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when working in an area where you might be exposed to birds that are suspected of having avian (bird) influenza; the safe and correct use of decontamination kits to kill the virus in areas where an outbreak has been reported; and the safe and correct work practices for gathering samples and preparing them for shipment to laboratories. It can also be used in reference to swine flu.
