Title A name given to the resource Les effets d'une intervention de counseling sur la réadaptation de travailleurs accidentés à risque de chronicité Subject The topic of the resource During lengthy collaboration with rehabilitation consultants from the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CSST), the researchers developed a rigorous and systematic intervention model whose aim was to properly equip these professionals to deal with complex and long-term cases. The aim of the project is to evaluate the effectiveness of this model in the context of CSST activities. Forty consultants from the Commission and eighty workers suffering from occupational injuries will participate: 20 consultants will apply the new intervention model on 40 people, while the 20 other consultants will use the currently-used procedure on 40 other people during the same time period. The new model should significantly improve rehabilitation and result in a higher rate of satisfaction in the workers affected.
