The Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC) is a global multi-stakeholder partnership organization that has worked since 1990 to achieve sustainable water supply and sanitation for all people by enhancing collaboration among sector agencies and professionals. This reference note is meant to assist professionals in different fields of understanding key issues and identifying key resources and insitutions on disaster risk reduction and emergency responses for water, supply, sanitation and hygiene (WASH).
