The learner will play the role of a public health professional throughout the course. This course is designed to develop the learner’s ability to investigate an environmental health problem and serve as a resource and risk communicator in the community. EnviroRisk is designed for public health professionals, and may include sanitarians, physicians, nurses, risk assessors, epidemiologists, and environmental engineers. Community groups may also find useful resources and a framework for approaching environmental health issues.
